New Old Stock, Various Models, Flexible and Manifold Nibs

About a year and a half ago we created a bit of a stir with our new old stock Eversharp Symphony pens. People responded very well to the notion of “vintage flex” on a new old stock pen. While our “seconds” with cosmetic imperfections were around for a few months, the ones in perfect condition sold out rather quickly.

Well, we’ve made arrangements for a rather large purchase of these pens, and as we get them cleaned up and restored with a new sac we are adding them to the web site. We had to pay a bit more this time, so our prices have gone up. Still, getting a new old stock pen with a flexible 14k nib for under $100 is not easy these days!

Here’s what we have:

MODEL 713 — plastic body and gold plated trim — small but flexible nibs. Here are our FIRSTS ($88) and here are the SECONDS ($68) (We’ll have lots of seconds, but if you want one without the trim pitting you should not wait.)

MODEL 913 — plastic body and steel or chrome plated trim — small but flexible nibs. Here are our FIRSTS ($88) and we will have seconds priced at $68 on the web site in a day or two.

MODEL 917 — plastic body and steel or chrome plated trim with a wide cap band — large flexible and manifold nibs. We have the manifold nibbed pens priced at $78 and the flexible nibbed pens at $98.

Here’s what the 917 looks like:
